This sweet family session in O’Fallon, MO was filled with playful moments, cuddles, and so much genuine connection. The soft evening light and beautiful scenery made the perfect backdrop for timeless family photos.
One of my favorite things about family sessions is capturing connection naturally rather than forcing perfect poses. Some of the best images always happen in the candid moments — kids laughing, genuine laughter, and those quiet little hugs in between. What impressed me the most in this session were the books the kids brought to read in between photos!
For this session, the family chose springy neutral outfits, which photographed beautifully and kept the focus on their connection. Coordinating colors without matching exactly always creates a timeless look in photos.
