Hey there, friend! I am so incredibly happy you stumbled across my little corner of the internet. Whether you are celebrating your teen's final year of high school, gathering the entire crew for an extended family reunion, or holding a brand-new baby in your arms, I am so glad you’re here.

Since we are going to be capturing some of your life's most precious milestones together, I think it’s only fair that we skip the formalities and get to know each other.

Here is a little glimpse into my world, my heart, and the passion behind the camera.

First Things First: How Do You Say My Name?

Let’s clear up the biggest mystery right out of the gate! My name is spelled Maile. It’s a beautiful Hawaiian name, but if you didn't grow up on the islands, it can be a bit of a head-scatcher to pronounce.

How to say it: It is pronounced "My-lee."

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, you can say hello like old friends when we meet for your session!

My "Why": Family, Faith, and Our Miracle Journey

My camera is an extension of my heart, and my heart belongs entirely to my beautiful family.

Carson is my husband, my absolute best friend, and my biggest supporter. He’s the backbone of this business and the guy who makes sure I’m always chasing my dreams.

Together, we share a love story that gave us the greatest gift of our lives: our daughter. Our journey to parenthood wasn't easy—she is our precious IVF miracle, and she is quite literally the light of our lives.

Going through the highs and lows of infertility completely shifted how I view the world and, ultimately, how I view photography. I know exactly how fleeting, how hard-fought, and how deeply beautiful these family milestones are. When I hold my camera, I’m not just looking for a pretty pose; I am looking to capture the fierce, deep love that defines your family. It's why I am so incredibly passionate about capturing legacy moments for families of all shapes and sizes.

What I Love to Capture: O'Fallon, MO Photography Specialties

I am incredibly proud to be a local O'Fallon, MO family photographer, serving wonderful families, parents, and graduates across St. Charles County and the greater St. Louis area. While I love documenting life's big milestones—including intimate weddings and engagements—my true passion lies in capturing families as they grow, change, and celebrate new chapters.

Here is what I specialize in:

Family & Extended Family Portraits: Whether it is just your immediate crew or a massive multi-generational legacy portrait with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, I love capturing the chaotic, beautiful connection of family. No stiff, forced poses here—just real laughter and genuine love.

High School Senior Photography: Celebrating a graduate is such a milestone! My senior sessions are all about letting your teen's personality shine, boosting their confidence, and capturing who they are at this pivotal moment in their lives.

Maternity & Newborn Photography: From the glowing anticipation of pregnancy to the sweet, tiny details of a fresh newborn session, I love helping you freeze these fleeting early days in time, whether that is a Fresh 48 or in-home newborn session.

Weddings & Engagements: While my main focus is on families and graduates, I still adore capturing the beautiful, joyful beginnings of a new legacy on your wedding day.
