St. Louis Missionary Photographer

Missionary photos are so special! This missionary is heading off for two years to serve others in California, and I loved getting to capture this exciting season of life before he left.

We spent some time walking around the beautiful St. Louis Missouri Temple grounds, stopping at different spots along the way to create a variety of photos. We started with a wide shot in front of the entire temple, then walked around to the back side and captured more portraits with different views of the temple.

We also took some photos with his mission flag and a Book of Mormon, which are such meaningful details to include in mission pictures.

For other missionary sessions, I always recommend bringing your mission flag, a set of scriptures, and your mission call letter if you'd like to incorporate those into your photos. These little details can make your gallery even more personal and help tell the story of this special time.
